These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Budgefy mobile application and website at budgefy.net (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, or by accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Budgefy, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country), and that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

Budgefy is a personal finance management application that allows users to:

  • •Track income and expenses across multiple wallets
  • •Create and manage budgets by category
  • •View financial summaries and analytics
  • •Sync data across devices (Pro feature)

Budgefy is a manual entry tool. It does not connect to banks, payment processors, or any financial institutions. All financial data is entered by you.

3. User Accounts

  • •A user account is not required to use the free version of Budgefy. Your data is stored locally on your device.
  • •Cloud sync (Pro feature) requires an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
  • •You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • •You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • •We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Paid Subscriptions

4.1 Budgefy Pro

Budgefy Pro is a paid subscription available monthly or annually. Subscriptions are processed through the respective app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) and are subject to their billing terms.

4.2 Free Trial

Early waitlist subscribers receive 3 months of Budgefy Pro free upon launch. This offer is non-transferable and valid only for the email address used to sign up.

4.3 Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings. Refunds are governed by the applicable app store refund policy (Google Play or Apple App Store). We do not process refunds directly.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • ✗Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
  • ✗Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
  • ✗Use automated scripts to interact with the Service without our written permission
  • ✗Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Service
  • ✗Upload or transmit viruses or any other malicious code
  • ✗Use the Service to impersonate another person or entity

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Budgefy app and website — including but not limited to the design, logo, text, graphics, and software — are owned by Budgefy and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7. Your Content & Data

You retain full ownership of all financial data you enter into Budgefy. By using cloud sync (Pro), you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

We do not use your personal financial data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Budgefy is a personal finance tracking tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BUDGEFY AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10. Third-Party Services & Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. Accessing those links is at your own risk.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason.

You may stop using the Service at any time. For Pro subscribers, cancelling your subscription through the app store will end your access to Pro features at the end of the billing period.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by in-app notification or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, as applicable.
